Lisa Gwilliam is a set designer and prop stylist specializing in projects large and small scale that draw from her background in fine art, installation, technology and special effects. Lisa was born and raised in Oakland, CA and began her career as a fabricator working with Fine Artists living in New York, Tokyo and Los Angeles. While in LA, she founded a studio that produced custom sets and props for film, television and music videos. In 2001 she relocated back to NYC and has provided still, video and animated content to advertising and editorial clients ever since.

The details of her work at every stage of a project maintain an awareness of both in camera and post production processes. She loves setting things on fire, working underwater and bringing the natural world into the studio.
